As they did last year in Las Vegas, the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) and the International Window Coverings EXPO (IWCE) will co-locate for their annual design extravaganza.
Interior design professionals will be able to attend two tradeshows under one roof as the 2012 edition of KBIS and Vision12 join forces April 24-26, 2012 at McCormick Place in Chicago.
A release from KBIS sponsor the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) said the co-location “offers attendees savings in both time and money with the concept of two expos for one badge.” The shows appeal to design professionals, dealers, decorators, fabricators, manufacturers, retailers, buyers, installers and other professionals.
The central location in a thriving city will offer culture as well as education and exhibits, said 2011 NKBA President-elect Alan Zielinski, CKD, a Chicago-area kitchen designer and dealer. He said the setting “won hands down” in an industry poll of where to locate the show.
“Our well-attended 2010 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show in Chicago was a testament to the draw this city has for kitchen and bath professionals.”
The NKBA has led the kitchen and bath industry for more than 45 years. Now in its 29th year, Vision12 is sponsored by interior design trade magazine Window Fashion Vision.
